Centerpoint Hires Andrew McCall as Director of Development

Centerpoint is pleased to announce that Andrew McCall has joined the firm as a Director of Development. Mr. McCall is an experienced investment banker, having sourced over $900 Million of debt and equity for various real estate development opportunities. His role is to manage financing of Centerpoint's multiple current development efforts and expand its fee-development and design/build business lines.

Before joining Centerpoint, Mr. McCall was a Principal at several Texas real estate development companies. He holds an MBA from Baylor University and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition, he holds 27 national gymnastics titles and 4 world titles in tumbling.

Centerpoint Completes Restaurant Depot in Houston

Centerpoint recently completed a 75,000 square foot big box retail building for Restaurant Depot on Bissonet Road in Houston, Texas. Despite the challenges of Hurricane Ike, Centerpoint completed the project on schedule. The facility features 12,000 square feet of freezer space, another 20,000 square feet of cooler space. This is the second project completed for Restaurant Depot. Centerpoint has a third facility under construction for the company in Fort Worth, Texas.

Centerpoint Hired for Burleson Senior Development

Centerpoint has been hired by Hawkeye Development of Fort Worth, Texas to design and build a three phase senior housing project in Burleson, Texas. The project is comprised of an age-restricted market rate apartment complex, an assisted living center, and a memory care facility. The project value is estimated at $45 Million.

Centerpoint is currently working with the City of Burleson to gain site plan approval. Construction is anticipated to begin in October 2009.
